Concerns on Economy Affect President Obama's Approval Rating
According to the latest opinion poll by CNN, President Obama's approval rating currently stands at 64%. While this is still an extremely healthy approval rating for any American President, it is down 3% from mid-February and there are clear concerns regarding the economy by the American people.
When it comes to specifics on the economy, President Obama's approval rating stands at 59% with 40% of Americans disapproving of his policies.
The mortgage stimulus package in particular has come under quite a bit of criticism considering that mortgage lenders have until December 31st 2009 to participate in the new plan without any kind of real incentive for early approval of home loan modifications. This clearly means that we might not see the mortgage and overall real estate crisis improve until 2010 at the earliest.
